The purpose of our website is to provide information about 1 Mission for Life…Annuities, Life and Health Insurance Services, Inc, (referenced as 1 Mission hereforth) the products and services we provide, and additional information that you may find beneficial. We are an insurance agency, not an insurance company, we DO NOT issue annuity, life or health insurance contracts nor bind coverage.

We provide general insurance information from “Insurance Companies”. Insurance quotes from a range of insurance companies are provided when customers request insurance coverage (in states we are licensed) while we attempt to fulfill those requests through applications to insurance companies not all applicants receive approvals.

Our website does not provide detailed information or interpretation of specific insurance contracts, policies and/or policy language, and is not designed to be a substitute for such information in terms of claims handling and/or settlement. For complete coverage information, please refer to the applicable specific policy in its entirety, including all applicable endorsements.

Information submitted to our agency via this website will be used for insurance application purposes only. All information is managed in a confidential manner. Requests for information, completion and/or submission of an application(s) does not constitute the purchase of insurance, nor does it represent any agreement to provide coverage under any insurance policy provider we work with.

No new coverage will be bound or added to an existing “in force” policy, nor an existing “in force” policy be altered or changed as a result of submitting a request for information or quotation of insurance. Only coverage that has been approved by the binding insurance company an application has been submitted to and confirmed bound by 1 Mission will be considered bound. New policy coverage is also subject to an acceptable signed application and receipt of the proper payment, if applicable, while meeting the underwriting guidelines of the Insurance Company providing coverage.

1 Mission and the Insurance companies may use one or more formats of communication such as email, cell phone texting, typed hard copy documents, faxes, telephone and or voice mail, it’s the user’s sole discretion to choose a preferred format when communicating.

1 Mission will send email confirmations for acknowledged receipt of emails, faxes or hard copy documents for faster service. All other communications will be in the same format as received from the sender. 1 Mission will attempt to make contact to verify receipt of communications sent to perspective clients.

Although 1 Mission and its service providers take security measures, there is a risk of information being intercepted over the internet or cell phones intentionally or unintentionally. Therefore, anyone sending information over any medium assumes the liability of such and 1 Mission disclaims any and all liability of such consequences.

Introduction

1 Mission for Life…Annuities, Life and Health Insurance Services is a family-owned insurance services corporation in California. We’ve been helping clients since 2015, educating them on alternative ways of saving for retirement, tax strategies, transferring wealth, creating legacies, business benefits and protecting what matters most, life, property and assets.

Privacy Policy Summary

It is 1 Mission for Life’s Initiative’s policy to never sell, rent, or trade any of our user's contact information and personal information, including email or mailing address lists. User data is securely stored in compliance with PCI and SSA16 standards.

What Kinds of Information Does 1 Mission for Life… Annuities, Life and Health Insurance Services Collect?

The kinds of information collected by 1 Mission for Life can be divided into two categories — passive data and active data.

 

Passive data is the information that is shared with us automatically by the device that is connecting to our website. Without this data we would be unable to deliver content to our users in a secure and efficient manner.   • Personal information – This is required to submit applications to insurance companies for approval and underwriting. This information is only taken electronically (see our disclaimer of communications) via email, cell phone text, fax, typed hard copy document, telephone or in person. Typically this information is collected during a face-to-face meeting.

California Do Not Track Disclosure

As a small family-owned organization with limited resources, 1 Mission for Life does not currently have a technological infrastructure in place to identify and provide alternative processing rules for traffic from web browsers which provide a do-not-track (DNT) data signal.

 

Gramm- Lech Bliley Act

 

1 Mission for Life gathers certain financial information for the purposes of assessing a person’s financial structure and health. We do not rent, share, sell, market or trade this information to any company. Some not all pertinent financial information is provided to insurance companies for which an application has been submitted to per the request of the potential client, this is necessary for suitability purposes. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

 

As a health insurance service, we’re required to gather basic information on behalf of the insurance company. We do not rent, share, sell, market or trade this information to any company. The information is provided to the insurance company only. During the application process the insurance company will provide the  HIPAA notice in writing to the client.

 

 

How / When Is Data Shared with Insurance Companies?

 

As an insurance services provider, we only submit personal or financial information to insurance companies when an applicant has agreed to and signed an application. In today’s world most insurance companies have gone the digital path allowing us to submit applications via the insurance company website agent portal which those companies have spent millions of dollars providing security measures to ensure the data is not intercepted, hacked and or compromised. In certain cases a sensitive document may be hand delivered to or acquired from the insurance company.

 

How / When Is Data Shared with Third-Party Companies?

 

As a small family-owned organization, we sometimes find it necessary to partner with outside organizations in order to provide the most secure and convenient services to our users. As previously stated however, we will never sell, rent, or trade any of our user's contact information, including email or mailing address lists or other personally identifiable information. The following services and scenarios detail how and when information is shared with third party, or external organizations:

  • Aggregate Statistics — A standard practice for nearly every major website and mobile application, aggregate statistical data is used to assess and enhance the many ways that we serve our users.

 

What Sorts of Safeguards Are in Place to Protect Data?

We employ many safeguards to protect the privacy and security of our users and data, including secure socket layer (SSL) communication channels, data encryption, and pseudonymization, along with a secure infrastructure for protecting the systems and services where user data is stored and processed.

Return Policy

1 Mission for Life is a service organization working as agents for insurance companies and any monies collected are made out to those companies therefore, we don’t refund monies directly. However, we act as your representative and work with the insurers to recoup any funds submitted as quickly as possible.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy at any time without notice, in order to enhance the level of service we provide to our users and maintain compliance with the regulatory bodies where our services are used.

Data Retention

Data which is collected by 1 Mission for Life is maintained securely for as long as the data is deemed necessary and relevant to the servicing of our clients.
